Isfahan’s luxurious and historic five star hotel is one of the oldest hotels in the world, as well as one of the largest hotels in Iran with a unique architecture of Isfahan School. This hotel is one of the tourist attractions of Iran. The Shah Abbasi Hotel was built in 1128 as an inn on the order of King Sultan Hussein of the Safavids. He gifted this inn to his mother, which is why the Abbasi Hotel was called the King’s Inn in the old days.
Hotel Abbasi Isfahan was renovated in 1336 and renamed the Shah Abbasi Guesthouse. When constructing this inn, it sought to restore the remains of the inn and to design it in harmony with the architecture of the Abbasi period. In 1345 the hotel became the current hotel. The current hotel was still trying to preserve the caravanserai character of the building. Hotel Abbasi Isfahan has 231 rooms, suites and apartments.
The hotel rooms are surrounded by the hotel’s courtyard and its turquoise pool and face the hotel’s patio, terrace and windows. Each room of this hotel has its own unique architecture and features. With 14 reception halls, restaurants, traditional tablecloths, traditional teas, cafeterias, the hotel is ready to accommodate 1500 guests.
